Community Health Worker (CHW) Role Coordinator
Arth Hin, MA, is the Community Health Worker (CHW) Role Coordinator for the TEAM UP Center. Arth is committed to improving healthcare for children and families, with a particular passion for increasing access within historically marginalized and underserved communities. Prior to her work at TEAM UP, Arth dedicated more than a decade to direct care, educating caregivers on navigating systems, promoting knowledge of child development, and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills that families can use long term. Arth firmly believes in a person-centered approach and understands that caregivers are truly the experts on their children. As CHW Role Coordinator for TEAM UP, Arth supports the growing CHW to develop and expand their critical contributions with the integrated behavioral healthcare teams. She provides training and consultation to ensure CHWs have the essential foundational knowledge, skills, and tools to succeed, while also supporting their work in more specialized areas of behavioral health care. Arth 's commitment to improving healthcare access for children and families, regardless of their background or where they reside, fuels her advocacy for the CHW role within the field. She is also a founding member of TEAM UP's Diversity, Equity, Belonging, and Accessibility workgroup. She recently completed her clinical graduate degree in counseling psychology and looks forward to continuing her work advocating, advancing, and supporting CHWs while expanding her capacity to provide client-facing services as a psychotherapist.
