This conversation will dive into Massachusetts All Payer claims data and show long-term trends in pediatric primary care visits with mental health needs, as well as the impact of integrating comprehensive behavioral and mental health care into pediatric mental health care.
About Jihye Kim, PhD: Jihye Kim, PhD is a Research Scientist in the Research-Support Services Department of Boston Medical Center and TEAM UP Scaling & Sustainability Center. Jihye’s research interests include evaluating health policy/programs, including mental health integration in pediatric primary care settings based on health economics and applied econometrics. She received her PhD in Economics at the University at Albany, SUNY, in 2020. She joined TEAM UP evaluation team of Boston Medical Center to evaluate various outcomes of federally qualified health centers implementing TEAM UP using claims data and electronic health records. Previously, Jihye was a Visiting Assistant Professor for the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
