Agenda
Day 1: Friday, April 10th, 2026, 9:30am-4:30pm, in-person
Day 1 will be a combination of didactic material and experiential activities. Topics include:
- The behavioral health integration movement
- Quality improvement (practice transformation and evaluation) in the provision of clinical care
- Why transdiagnostic approaches?
- Decolonizing mental health care
- The evidence behind and application of psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, problem solving skills, and cognitive restructuring
Day 2: Friday, May 1st, 2026,, 9:30am-4:30pm, in-person
Day 2 will be a similar combination of didactic and interactive, using a variety of media. Topics include:
- The evidence behind and application of emotional regulation, therapeutic exposure, behavioral activation, interpersonal and communication skills, assessments and screening, and caregiver and family support
- Using Management and Adaptive Practices (MAP) in clinical practice
Day 3: Friday, May 8th, 2026, (with CHWs), 9:30am-4:30pm, in-person
Day 3 is geared towards BHCs and CHWs collaborating to focus on foundations in early childhood care with an emphasis on the team-approach. Topics include:
- Engagement strategies for client-centered care
- Developmental stages: Ages 0-5
- BRANCH as an intervention tool
- Case study and application
